The Bistro Cafe is the building on the left

The Bistro Cafe is situated at the top end of the High Street adjacent to the Heritage Centre and Museum, the building on the right of the photograph above.
Its exterior belies its interior as inside you will find a very contemporary modern cafe and small confectioners. A pot of Yorkshire Tea and Toasted Teacake is readily available but so is a Cappuccino and all those funny bread things that the "Euro-set" call sandwiches!
But whether you're a traditionalist or you're a modernist after trudging up the hill to visit the museum a good cuppa goes down real well.
