The Harbour Side Guest House is as its name suggests right on the sea front with a view from the bedroom windows to die for. If you don't believe me then this is the sunset view you could experience.
The food is excellent and freshly prepared on the premises and can be washed down with one of the great wines on offer at very reasonable prices. We had the Lobster and washed it down with a couple of bottles of the House Champagne -WOW! It was so good we came back the next day and repeated the experience. If you prefer something less rich then the Cod and Chips will still knock your socks off and there are plenty of vegetarian alternatives.
If you are staying in self-catering holiday accommodation in Staithes you can still have lunch or an evening meal here but we suggest you book especially for the evenings at the weekends. If the weather permits they also serve food alfresco so you can enjoy the views.

If you're lucky then your visit will correspond with some live entertainment and then your are in for some fun.
Please note if you are staying in the Harbour Side on a Friday or Saturday night then be aware that the bedrooms are on the next floor and the singing can get a bit loud but don't be a kill joy, come down and join in. |

It's lucky that driving around Staithes is rather impractical, the streets are VERY narrow and there is absolutely no parking in the Old Town at all (Loads up the top - see Parking Page).
After a fabulous night here you may not wish to go anywhere near your car for a while |
