Now here's a traditional fishermen's pub (Public House). The Royal George is situated in the lower High Street it has its back to the sea 'cause when you're at home you don't want to look at your work!
Offering a grand selection of beers and ales this pub also serves bar food most nights of the week. Don't expect Egon Ronay fare or Egon Ronay prices but you will not go away empty after a steak and chips with all the trimmings and apple pie and ice cream to finish it off.
A word of warning, it can get a little busy especially around 7pm when the kitchen opens. My advice is arrive early and have a pint (or two!) whilst you wait.
