Telecommunications in Staithes

If you are staying down in the old town of Staithes you will need to know where the pay phone is because your Mobile Phone will not work. Follow this link to the Old Town Map and look for the RED blob because that's where the Pay Phone is!

If your are lucky you may find you can get a signal on your mobile on Seaton Garth or on the beach, hopefully when the tide is out! Once you get above the cliffs in the High Street, around the Public Car Park then you will find it works OK.

Tell your friends and family that you're going on holiday and they cannot get you because your phone won't work. It's a grand excuse for a quiet time.
